With the third movie out in the cinemas, I knew that I had officially run out of time and so weakly I gave in and picked up the last book of the series. It was heavy.
Twilight fell into my hands a few years ago and I devoured it. Hungry for more I whipped through the second book, not as good in my opinion, Bella’s non-stop pining for Edward basically drove me insane. The third I read slower, the constant leading on of poor Jacob made me cringe so by the time I got to the end, I was done. My veins were dry!
So when my 12 year old girl wanted something to read, I shoved it in her hands, vampires with morals, all good. She went through them faster than me, and at the conclusion of the fourth, she made me promise to read it. We did a deal that I would do so before the film was released. Only today though I found out that it is still over a year away! Anyway I have now read it.
I really enjoyed it. I wish I could admit that in a smaller font!It was a bit strange, but it had that fast pace feel that the first one did, plus a lot of the loose ends were resolved, though what was she thinking with that name?? hmmm..
So to celebrate, I thought I’d pepper my post with the best and strangest twilight cupcakes! Hope you like them.
I think they are all great, though the top one is a bit freaky, like someone collects arms off barbie dolls. Individually I am sure they look amazing, but together they look like a body part collection! But I guess we are talking about Vampires.
Off to get a drink of cranberry juice!
