I hate to admit it, but Martha Stewart’s cupcake book is my favorite as of late – everything from simple to complex in one beautiful book. Her gingerbread cupcakes are excellent, and I am just waiting for the right time to make her chocolate ones that are filled with home made caramel and topped with a sprinkle of sea salt – mmm divine!

I really like Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. I’m lactose intolerant, so I find it easier to digest vegan baked goods, and most of their recipes are great. The cupcakes still come out moist and flavorful.
