Some of the fun ways to surprise your kids on St. Patrick’s Day: green milk, green rice crispy treats, green eggs, and green cupcakes. Grab your food coloring and have fun creating green cupcakes for your little ones, friends, or co-workers. Many stores carry shamrock stencils that you can use to create designs on the top of your cupcakes.
To create St. Patrick’s Day green cupcakes, make your favorite vanilla cupcake recipe and add green food coloring to the wet mixture. If you want to go with an all green theme, you can also add green food coloring to your frosting.
