Mary Rose shared these pictures from her daughter Carrie’s September 11th wedding. These elegant wedding cupcakes have orange Gerber daisies and rich dark brown cupcake wrappers. The cupcakes also feature petite flowers on top of the icing.

The ring bearer was caught in the action trying to sneak a cupcake before the wedding reception.

Who knew cupcakes could look so elegant!? I love the simple color choices and the gerber daisies are beautiful!
How beautiful! Cupcakes have come a long ways!!
My brother and sister-in-law had cupcakes at their wedding because there were so many guests, cupcakes were just easier. They had probably six different flavors, and each different flavor had a different flower decoration on the top so you could tell them apart. It was all I could do to keep from trying all the different kinds!
That is gorgeous! What a cool idea!!
What a neat idea! Love it!
I love making cupcakes because the baking time is less!Instant gratification.
what a beautiful wedding!!
Those cupcakes are just wonderful! I was thinking of doing something like this for my wedding as well
Beautiful! Hope you get 50 posts!
They look so pretty! I think cupcakes are so much prettier -and easier to serve and more fun to eat- than cake.
Looking for new cupcake ideas for a while now. My grandkids will love helping me make them. Hope you get 50 posts.
Cupcakes are so easy to serve – they aren’t messy – and everyone enjoys them – they are easy to take to parties and always look nice.
This is a gorgeous display of cupcakes. I am planning an event for Novemebr and this would be a fantastic center piece for the refreshment area. Where can one find such a beautiful, huge cupcake stand? The only ones I have seen only hold about 30 cupcakes without space for a topper. I guess I could build one.
Do you think that with doing cupcakes guests DO tend to eat more than they would if it was cake? It just seems so convenient to walk past and pick one up.
I love cupcakes for weddings. They’re so versatile and so much fun to decorate!
I’m already planning to have cupcakes for my wedding – they’re individual, I don’t have to worry about having one or two flavors for everyone (I can have half a dozen or more!), and they’re cheaper, since I’m planning to make them myself.
