Today’s inspiration comes from Buenos Aires in Argentina, a place that I absolutely adored, that is, after I got over my insane jet lag!

Buenos Aires educated me when I visited. It is a forward thinking, modern, vibrant and very hip city. So to find an awesome cupcake store in amongst its calles (streets) now is no surprise at all.

The Teakery Sweet Catering store work with their clients to assist them to select a theme and a color range and then they do their thing, developing something with a deep visual impact.  Well I can’t disagree, these ladybugs would certainly make a statement wherever they were placed. Especially the idea of having the little one on top.

Of course you can adapt this idea at home, using one normal sized cake and then create a bee, a fly, a butterfly, a dragonfly or bird to hover above your cake.
